Singapore: An emerging hub for medical devices

The government is targeting up to 1 mn foreign patients a year, which will contribute SGD2.6 bn (USD1.6 bn), or about 1%, to Singapore’s GDP. Google unveils India 'health cards' as it eyes vast market

The "health cards" cover more than 400 conditions and give information such as typical symptoms, prevalence and illustrations, in Google's smartphone app. After the US and Brazil, India is the third country to get the health cards. Approximately 5% of Google searches are for health-related information.
