The city has 205,000 people with more than RMB10 mn (USD1.5 mn) in personal assets, defined as high net worth individuals, said a health care and elderly-care report released by Hurun Research Institute and Taikang Life Insurance.
But although Shanghai ranked as the no.3 biggest city for wealthy Chinese, the city’s health care sector was described as mediocre in terms of service quality, environment and use of advanced equipment.
