Lyca Group forays into Indian healthcare segment

London-based Lyca Group, which has presence in various businesses, has forayed into India's domestic healthcare segment with the launch of a flagship daycare facility - Westminster Healthcare in Chennai.

With investments of GBP15 mn, the facility will serve the "niche segment" in Chennai, considered the healthcare capital of India, said LycaHealth CEO Manpreet Gulati.
"We have invested 17 million pounds for the Westminster Healthcare. This is our flagship facility. We already have about 50 people working with us. In the next five years, we have committed investments about 100 million pounds," he told reporters.
