Pediatric Quality and Safety is an international online, peer-reviewed, journal dedicated to providing healthcare professionals a forum to disseminate the results of quality improvement and patient safety initiatives that impact the lives of children from newborn to young adulthood.
“Quality and safety work... is front and center in nearly all that we do in healthcare,” explains Richard Brilli, Co-Editor-in-Chief of the journal. “We look forward to contributing to the broad dissemination of the plethora of ongoing scholarly improvement activities, with a goal of truly improving child health.”
Richard McClead, Co-Editor-in-Chief adds, “There is a lot of quality improvement and patient safety work being conducted by experts at the children’s hospitals all across the United States and around the world. If we are to make progress on eliminating patient harm and improving health outcomes, we need a venue in which our work can be shared."
