"We are already thinking of expanding our presence in Osaka, and possibly to other cities," said Prem Kumar Nair, chief corporate officer of RMG, at a press conference Monday morning. "In the next year or so, we will explore Tokyo as well," he added.
In September 2015, the group opened a medical center in central Osaka staffed with doctors who speak English, Japanese and Mandarin. The center offers a variety of services, including health checks, traditional Chinese medicine, dermatology and aesthetic treatments.
The facility has received a steady flow of patients thanks to the large number of Chinese tourists visiting the city. Also buoying business is the relatively high number of patients from local and foreign companies in the area.
