DPWH completes construction, expansion of 68 health facilities, hospitals in Central Luzon

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the construction and expansion of 68 health facilities and hospitals in Central Luzon under the Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP) of Department of Health (DOH).

In the latest report submitted to the Regional Development Council Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC), DPWH disclosed it has turned-over to DOH 54 out of 55 projects that were programmed in 2013 at a total cost of P219 million and 14 out of 18 that were programmed in 2014 at a total cost of P26.77 million.

“The remaining project due for completion among those that were programmed in 2013 is the P75 million expansion of the Tarlac Provincial Hospital which is 99 percent complete,” National Economic and Development Authority Regional Director and RPMC chair Severino Santos disclosed.
