Australia's Medibank Health Solutions to be sold off

Medibank Health Solutions, the health management and telehealth services arm of privatised health insurer Medibank Private, is set to be sold off.

The division makes about $100 million in revenue annually. It provides a range of healthcare services on behalf of government, and nurse and GP-led telehealth triage and advice services for Healthdirect Australia.
The Australian Financial Review reports that Medibank Health Solutions' profits are small and says likely interested buyers would be healthcare service provider Aspen Medical or another insurer such as Bupa.
