London adds hospitals to cater to Asian and Middle East medical tourists

To cater to UK demand and increased numbers of overseas patients from China and the Middle East, several UK and overseas groups are building new clinics and hospitals in London.

Cleveland Clinic has confirmed planning permission for the conversion of 33 Grosvenor Place into an advanced healthcare facility, its first in London. The office block near to Buckingham Palace will become a 205-bed hospital with eight operating theatres.
