Healthcare UK is raising its profile by exporting healthcare services

At the recent NHS Health and Care Innovation Expo 17 in Manchester, Healthcare UK raised the profile and appeal of exporting for UK healthcare organisations.
The team engaged with over 5,000 attendees from the UK, and the 52 overseas delegates from seven countries hosted by the UK government.

Conversations focussed on the key challenges of building capabilities, capacity, and a wider awareness of the export opportunities available.
"Look at the concept of integrated care, where we are bringing together primary care, social care, elderly care and mental health in an innovative and holistic approach... We are also at the cutting-edge of innovation in digital health," said Lord O’ Shaughnessy, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department of Health.
