For North America, the growth rate would be 4.8%. Latin America would grow at an annual rate of 3.1%, while Western Europe is likely to grow at 1.4%.
The major common factors behind the growth of the industry include rise in aging population, increased life expectancy, increase in chronic degenerative diseases and wealth, as well as the universality of healthcare. However, economic and political uncertainty-related regulations and cost pressures may restrict the growth of the industry.
