Himalaya launches exclusive mom and baby store in India to take on market leader J&J

Herbal health and personal care firm Himalaya Drug company has launched exclusive mom and baby company stores today in Bengaluru to take on market leader Johnson & Johnson which holds more than 50% market share.

These stores will have all the Himalaya baby and mom care products with breastfeeding and diaper changing rooms along with two doctors to assist the parents. 

"This is one of the core strategies to reduce the gap between us and Johnson & Johnson brand," N V Chakravarthi, General Manager Marketing of Himalaya BabyCare said. The company is the second largest with about 25% market share in this category.
