Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade & Industry has awarded a contract to a handful of companies to carry out a health care technology and service facilitation project in China:
- Nichiigakkan, Japan's largest nursing care provider
- Hospital bed maker Paramount Bed
- Wheelchair maker Kawamura Cycle
- P2P Bank, a Tokyo-based developer of programs that help curb dementia
The government aims to kick-start exports of nursing care services through experimental projects in China, where the market is expected to grow.
