Thomas John, managing director of Agappe, said the manufacture of equipment would commence at Agappe’s manufacturing facility in Kochi in 2018 and would help to bring down the cost of tests by analysers.
The instrument offers roughly one third cost per test compared with conventional analysers, which will help rural penetration, with medium and small labs able to employ the advanced testing platform.
