Medical tourism investment in Malaysia

Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng wants to make Penang into a medical city with excellent hospitals, highly trained doctors and very affordable care.

The state government seeks to bring in an investment that includes foreign and local investment to enhance health care facilities. Lim Guan Eng explains: "Medical tourism is booming in Malaysia so we will work hard to make Penang a medical city. Investment is important to reinforce Malaysia’s position as the number one medical tourism destination."
