Internet of Things poised to transform healthcare in Malaysia

Kontron of Germany, will be the industry lead for the CREST (Collaborative Research in Engineering, Science and Technology) Connected Healthcare Cluster (CHC) in Malaysia. It is an initiative formed to drive technology advancements in the application of IoT (Internet of Things) for the healthcare arena.
This initiative is being driven by the Malaysian government through partnership with CREST, which the CHC is focused on delivering patient-centric affordable and quality healthcare services and solutions through a collaborative technology development approach between industry and academia.
The CREST CHC was formed in April 2014 to focus on the application of wearable embedded systems, IoT connected-devices technology; and the commercialization of healthcare products, solutions, and services by the electrical and electronic industry.
