Indian Health tech company Practo opens platform to wider healthcare ecosystem

Online doctor discovery and healthcare tech firm Practo is opening its platform to more healthcare stakeholders including insurers, pharmaceutical companies, and medical devices companies. The company will also build new services to enhance value to stakeholders, said its co-founder and CEO Shashank ND.

"We are looking to be a platform that connects any two stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem, be it patients, providers, insurers, medical devices or others. We hope to build a single destination that connects and also provides tools to digitise, manage and grow business," Shashank said.

Practo is the most funded healthcare technology startup, having raised USD179 million so far. It has also been expanding its international business aggressively and now has sizeable operations in West Asia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Brazil.
