Apollo Hospitals revenues cross USD1 bn in FY17

The consolidated revenues of Apollo Hospitals crossed the USD1 bn mark in 2016-17 jumping 17% year-on-year to INR73 bn (USD1.1 bn). Profit after tax however declined 7.2% to INR2.2 bn (USD34 mn) during the year.

"FY17 has been a monumental year. In addition to surpassing the milestones of 10,000 beds and a billion dollars in revenues this fiscal, the group has made significant progress by adding new capacity and by upgrading existing facilities," said Dr Prathap Reddy, chairman, Apollo Hospitals.
