National targets require the Territory to treat 83 per cent of emergency department patients within four hours but just 62 per cent were seen in this time, an AMA report card on public hospitals has revealed.
Waiting times for elective surgery fell by a day to the national average 36 days in 2013-14 but the NT failed to meet a target of treating 77 per cent of urgent patients in 90 days.
