Practo launches customized app for specialist doctors

Healthcare startup Practo has launched a customized app for physicians, paediatricians and dentists that will allow them to digitally prescribe laboratory tests and check results in real time, among other things.

The app, Practo Ray, also includes a database of nearly 100,000 commonly prescribed medicines so a doctor can search for and prescribe the right medicine.
In the near future Practo Ray will cover more specialties including ophthalmology and gynaecology. These will be available in India, Singapore and the Philippines.
