QualiMed's first flagship hospital will open no later than 2019 in Blintawak, north of Manila. A second large hospital will be added around 2021 in an area south of Manila. QualiMed eventually aims to deploy the hospital-clinic business model in the Visayas islands in the central Philippines, as well as on the island of Mindanao.
QualiMed is known for its price-competitiveness, offering medical servcies 30-40% cheaper than its rivals. It has until now focused on clinics and midsize hospitals with 100 to 120 beds. But health care demand from the middle class is expanding fast as the Philippines economy grows.
