Mexico City adopts digital health solution for home-checkups

Carlos Slim Foundation signed an agreement with the government for digitizing patient data. This program carries out home health check-ups to detect illness, follows up on pregnant women and reviews the vaccination of children under five.

Based on a pilot test, the Electronic Clinical Record of patients is registered through a Comprehensive Primary Care Model housed in the cloud system of Telmex.
286 electronic tablets will also be distributed for capturing data. The system will allow the generation of accurate statistics on the health of the population such as the incidence and prevalence of chronic disorders.
