KPJ Kuching Specialist Hospital chairman Abdul Wahab Baba said the new hospital would be built on a 1.918ha land in BDC here at an estimated cost of RM100 million.
He said it was expected to be operational in 2017 and would have 150 beds for the first phase. “As one of the highest rated hospitals in terms of personalised patient care, KPJ aims to deliver patients the very best experience, from diagnosis to treatment.”
KPJ’s other hospitals in Sarawak are KPJ Sibu Specialist Medical Centre, as well as the Love Care Centre (nursing and geriatric care centre).
