The China National Fracture Study (CNFS) interviewed respondents about traumatic fractures of the trunk, arms, or legs that had occurred in 2014, and found the incidence rate of traumatic fractures was 3·21 per 1,000. For all ages, sleeping less than 7 h per day was identified as a risk factor and previous fracture history was a risk factor for adults aged 15 years and older. Alcohol consumption incurred a risk effect for men and women aged 15 years and older.
