Healthcare devices in India registered 150% growth on Amazon

Amazon in India has revealed that their healthcare device category has grown over 150% year on year. Some of the top selling products in the category are blood glucose monitors, fitness trackers, massagers and blood pressure monitors.

According to Amazon.in, younger generation is taking health and fitness seriously and have played an active role by educating elders about the need for healthcare devices especially by gifting them to their parents.
Most of the demand on Amazon is driven by Tier I metropolitan cities where the urban lifestyle is leading to a lot of health issues including hypertension and diabetes, the company said.
