Astra Zeneca partners Chunyu for mHealth in China

British pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca and Beijing-based mobile healthcare consultation application Chunyu Doctor said they have formed a partnership to offer patients with management of chronic diseases.

The two parties would focus on patients’ medical and daily demand for care of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes with the number of patients for these two disease areas rising quickly.

They would launch joint training activities for grass-root medical practitioners as well as patient education programs both through online and offline channels so that patients can have better understanding of their health situation.
