Radiology is the first line of diagnosis for most diseases, and doctors are increasingly relying on radiology imaging, such as CT Scans, MRIs and X-rays to diagnose disease and create treatment regimens for patients. In India, artificial intelligence shows promise by bringing healthcare and radiology to the inaccessible areas.

For example, TB patients in rural India must walk kilometers to reach a public health center. AI can substantially change the way these patients are treated by automatically reading a chest X-ray in real-time and giving the feedback to the physician, who can then immediately start a treatment regimen.
