We worked with them to create an 'ideal partner' profile and evaluate potential target companies in India, Thailand and Singapore, leading to the acquisition of a USD14 million UPS manufacturer.
What we did
For a Japanese uninterruptable power supply manufacturer:
- Developed a scorecard based on the client's 'ideal partner' profile
- Identified and screened 29 target companies based on filters such as proximity to port and assembly capabilities
- Shortlisted, profiled and evaluated nine companies against market, service, cultural and financial criteria
- Introduced six best-fit companies with which our client opened talks
