Hanmi Pharmaceutical signs Sanofi diabetes mega deal

06-Nov-15 Korea's Hanmi Pharmaceutical has signed a contract with Sanofi to export USD4 bn worth of diabetes treatment technology, in a deal worth almost 30% of the value of the entire Korean pharma industry. Sanofi gains an exclusive worldwide license to develop and commercialize drugs based on the materials, except in Korea and China, where Hanmi retains co-commercialization rights. A flood of new hospitals in India

04-Nov-15 India's new government, led by Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, has sanctioned another 200-bed children's hospital in Bemina, Srinagar. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has also identified five districts in the state for new medical colleges, as well as two cancer institutes, in Kashmir and Jammu.
