Such problems caused by doctors' heavy workload and an outdated dispensary system are being addressed by an e-prescription system which is to be installed in 17 hospitals by Dec-18, with up to 30% reduction in medication errors. Philippines tests health app for remote islands

19-Jun-15 The Philippines is testing a locally-developed app that will improve delivery of health services to hundreds of remote island communities. Using the app, a town's health officer can upload medical records and clinical information, which can then be viewed from anywhere by a doctor.
