03-Nov-15 Chinese diabetes tech firm Sinocare has signed an agreement to acquire Nipro Diagnostics from Japan's Nipro Corp, for USD273 mn. Nipro Diagnostics is based in Florida and manufacturers products for people with diabetes, including a portfolio of blood glucose monitoring technologies. UPMC makes progress on international medical center in China

22-Jul-15 Under a collaborative agreement, Pittsburgh-based UPMC is one step closer to opening an international medical center in Changsha, China. In Aug-14 UPMC announced a five-year agreement to open the 3,500 bed Xiangya International Medical Center.
