10-Aug-16 The trend of sports other than cricket becoming more demanding is giving rise to a new breed of medical specialists in India: sports medicine. Hospitals are seeing a spike in sports-related injuries. 20-Jun-16 Initiatives to reduce medical blunders in public hospitals are in the pipeline as Hong Kong's Hospital Authority identified some 30 types of mistakes most commonly made. Although its outpatient department is the biggest in the country, the facility only has six registered psychiatrists to treat hundreds of patients per day between 7am and 12pm.
