Pete is a commercial intelligence practitioner and business consultant specialising in China, Asia and other emerging markets who has led hundreds of assignments for many of the world’s most successful healthcare, technology and industrial companies.
Having advised many Western companies looking at opportunities in China and Asia since the early 1990s, as well as major Asian corporations as they expand internationally, Pete has first-hand experience of both sides of the emerging markets phenomenon. He previously co-founded Fusion Consulting (now M-Brain in Asia) which was voted 'Asia's Best Consulting Company to Work For' in a Vault.com survey of 800 consulting professionals in 2008, knocking Bain & Co into second place.
Pete was educated at London University's King's College, London School of Economics (LSE) and School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS). He has been published and quoted in Bloomberg, South China Morning Post, Straits Times and Marketing magazine, and has appeared as a guest on CNBC.
He also serves as a Director of the West of England China Bureau.
