Supply all knee implant brands, Indian government tells companies

The government has ordered knee implant makers and importers to continue supply of all brands of the device they were marketing in India before the country's drug pricing regulator slashed their prices by up to 69% in Aug-17.

In Aug-17 India's drug pricing watchdog limited the prices of various primary knee implants between INR54,000 and INR77,000 (excluding taxes), depending on the materials they are made from.
