Korean healthcare companies are launching an initial coin offering (ICO) one after another. Healthcare is the most innovative sector through blockchain technology.

The Korean government imposed a total ban on ICOs after cryptocurrency speculation overheated in Sep-17. Therefore, domestic companies are setting up subsidiaries overseas, for example in Singapore or Gibraltar.

Domestic healthcare firms Zikto and My23 Healthcare are reported to be pushing ahead with ICOs through subsidiaries in Singapore. Zikto is to establish blockchain-based insurance platform serving insurers, data firms and consumers.
