Columbia China reopens orthopedic hospital in Shanghai

26-Oct-16 Columbia China is reopening the 232-bed Shanghai Kaiyuan Orthopedic Hospital, after spending USD75 mn to acquire and retrofit it. Columbia China plans to expand through acquisitions and greenfield projects. “Shanghai Kaiyuan Orthopedic Hospital is positioned to be the Orthopedic Center of Excellence in joint, spine, minimally invasive surgeries and sports medicine,” said Bee Lan Tan, President of Columbia China.
