Malaysia wins Best Medical Travel award for third consecutive year

Malaysia again won the Health and Medical Tourism Destination of the Year award for the third consecutive year. The award, judged by a team of 23 judges from around the world, has further cemented the country's position as the top leading medical tourism destination.

The International Medical Travel Journal (IMTJ) Award was presented to the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) CEO Sherene Azli.
"Having created awareness that Malaysia is a viable option as a medical tourism destination, we must now raise that awareness to an unprecedented level. We have much work to do," she said.
