Malaysia is fast emerging to be a true force in the healthcare travel industry. Progress is on track to outpace the global healthcare travel market. In 2016, Malaysia recorded a growth of 23%, and aims to reach 30% growth by 2020.

At the helm of the industry, Malaysian private hospitals and industry stakeholders have worked hand in hand to make Malaysia the destination for healthcare. MHTC is confident that with such strong drivers, the goal to achieve MYR1.3 bn (USD307 mn) revenue in 2017 is within reach.
