The world's leading e-commerce player, Amazon, is planning to enter the Vietnamese market, the Việt Nam E-commerce Association (VECOM) has announced.

Amazon will also support Vietnamese enterprises in exporting online through the platform. Amazon will kick off a co-operation programme to support Vietnamese SMEs to sell and export goods through its ecosystem at the Vietnam Online Business Forum 2018.

VECOM estimates e-commerce is growing at 22 per cent per year, predicted to reach USD10 bn in the next five years.
